A Corneal Topographer is used to map the shape of the cornea in a three dimensional representation of a patient’s eye. This enables our Optometrists to choose the most suitable contact lens for our patients with comfort and clearest vision possible.

Corneal Topography is also used to monitor diseases in the cornea such as Keratoconus.

The Humphrey Matrix visual fields utilises Welch Allyn Frequency Doubling Technology to quickly and accurately detect the early stages of visual field loss. Our Optometrists will conduct this exam primarily on patients who are suspected to have Glaucoma, and other eye diseases.

With early detection of visual field defects, Our Optometrists uses this detailed assessment to improve success of treatment in Glaucoma and other eye diseases to prevent further vision loss.

Clearview Eyecare houses the world’s ‘gold’ standard in modern Slit Lamp Microscopy. Our Optometrists uses the new LED powered Slit Lamp which delivers the sharpest, brightest and most homogeneous slit ever. This ensures the best details in diagnosis from the cornea to the retina of the eye.
